Surdex Awarded 11 States for USDA SLI

Surdex has been selected as a prime contractor for the USDA Stewardship Lands Imagery (SLI) program and we are thrilled to be one of only a few select contractors.

This program involves high resolution, multispectral four-band imagery, which serves many conservation applications for the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) including support for landowners in protecting, restoring and enhancing wetlands on their property.  We were awarded all sites for 11 states, totaling almost 10,000 easements and 1.2 million acres. Although Surdex has participated in this program in the past as a subcontractor, this is our first year as a prime contractor and we are grateful for the opportunity to expand our involvement with critical USDA imagery programs.
